Meetings: Central MD chapter meetings are held 7:30pm to 9:00pm on
the first Wednesday each month. We alternate locations between
Hagerstown and Frederick. There is a main topic of each meeting, followed
by general discussions and announcements. Individual information/direction,
if needed, is provided after the meeting. Some meetings are preceded by
our book club. See the calendar for more details. Everyone is welcome at
our PFLAG meetings; there is absolutely no fee or membership required.

| January is membership renewal month. Or just make a one-time donation. See our brochure for mailing address. Did you know we get over 200 visitors per month to this website? We have handed out many, many copies of Now That You Know to area parents in need of information. We awarded a small amount of scholarship money to the winning active community supporter. We cosponsored a showing of For The Bible Tells Me So. (We also lend out the DVD.) We support Gay Straight Alliances in local high schools. We are often the first resource for parents. Please help support our efforts by becoming a member. All money goes toward the cause. Last year several church groups have donated a portion of fund raisers and the performers at Deer Creek Lodge also made a significant donation, thanks! |
| Next Meeting: Wed Feb 3rd in Hagerstown. Topic: Lobby Day discussion and preparation. We’ll talk about proven methods to encourage change at the state level, and our goals for this year. PFLAG is sponsoring a passenger van from Frederick to Annapolis for the Monday Feb 8th event. Van leaves @3:15pm from FCC, returns about 8:30pm, reservations are first-come first-served: reserve via e-mail here. If we still have a seat we'll confirm, link will be disabled after it is filled. Ready, set, go! We also celebrate our chapters’ 4th birthday this month! |
