Treasurer’s Report: current balance $316.00 expenses to date include checking fee, reimbursement to Lois Jarman for miscellaneous expenses and a fee to the Mental Health Association for listing in the MHA guide. Rodney will be paying our chapter dues to national soon.
Old business: The steering committee held a retreat November 30th and planned the 2007 meeting and book club calendars. The calendar will be unveiled at the January 3rd meeting.
Copies of “That Day” are available. The $5.00 donation goes directly to our chapter.
Book club will meet on the 20th of this month at the coffee company on East Street. This month’s selection is “Misquoting Jesus.”
Canned goods were collected for the Positive Influence Food Bank. Wes will take our donations to the PI office.
Rodney gave a brief report on the marriage event at Drew University. Discussion followed about recent court cases in Maryland and New Jersey. Lois brought up Lobby Day. As soon as more information is available it will be sent out in an email and posted on the website.
A rousing round of the Name Game followed. The highly competitive game ended in a tie 27-27. Refreshments and social time followed.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 8:35pm. There were 18 people in attendance.
