| Minutes June 7th, 2006 |
Vice President Kevin Lawlor called the meeting to order and made several announcements:
->Lois submitted our Articles of Incorporation to the State of Maryland.
->There is a Love Not Hate event in Washington County On Saturday June 10. It’s from 1-5pm at Taylor’s Park
in Keedysville.
->From PFLAG Winchester-Gay into Straight America June 11th at PFLAG Winchester/Lower Shenandoah
Valley
->Book Club meeting is 6/21 at 7pm in the Trust Conference Room. Selections are: “Brokeback Mountain,”
“Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim” and “Mordred, Bastard Son.’
->Thurs. 6/29-State Farm Ins. Is hosting a GLBT forum. PFLAG reps have been asked to attend. If you can
go, contact Lois.
->There will be no meeting in July because of the holiday.
->The August speaker will be the Rev. Michael Hydes. He will speak on the history of marriage.
Following the announcements, preparations were made for participation in Baltimore’s PRIDE Day.
Approximately 15 people were in attendance.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 8:30pm.
