events for upcoming year. Discuss PFLAG

Congregations United For Marriage Equality
meets with Frederick’s state representatives
(PFLAG is showing support). Meet at the
Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ,
in the Fellowship Hall located at 11 W. Church
St in downtown Frederick promptly at 5pm.

Feb 1st Meeting
|
All About Equality: Gender Identity and
Expression Anti-Discrimination bill and
Marriage Equality bill in Maryland. Preparation
for MD Lobby Day. We’ll talk about proven
methods to encourage support at the state
level.

Maryland Lobby Day in Annapolis (please, no
snow this year!)

Mar 7th @ Shadowland
in FSK Mall
(In lieu of regular
meeting)
|
Annual event held at Shadowland, located at
FSK mall at the entrance between Value City
Furniture and Macy's. We are inviting
supportive youth and adults to a more social
gathering. Please wear RED and arrive
promptly @ 7:30pm. Cost is about $8.
Optional ice cream and coffee at the diner
after.

2nd annual Frederick Pride Prom preparations.
Also, discussion of local events for Day of
Silence and Night of Noise on Apr 20th.

Annual Transgender discussion. Final
preparations for the Frederick Student Pride

@FCC. Contact your high school GSA or
FCC's L.I.F.E for tickets and info, or buy
tickets at the door (local HS and college
students, and guests only). Our PFLAG
chapter is a proud co-sponsor.

picnic at Baker Park
|
Annual picnic in Baker Park in downtown
Frederick. Look for us under a pavilion near
the pool. Bring your own dinner plus a dessert
to share. PFLAG provides beverages. We
very much hope to also be celebrating success
in the long fights for gender expression and
marriage equality in Maryland.

Make our pride known; perhaps to a relative,
friend, co-worker, or politician. The positive
feedback will make you feel good. Students,
contact your GSA or other school group for

Annual bullying meeting- Video, followed by
discussion with area students. Final planning
for A Little Song, A Little Dance benefit on Dec
1st.

13th Annual Transgender Day of
Remembrance. There is typically a vigil in
Hagerstown and elsewhere throughout state.

Frederick, the large one behind the FSK Mall.
