The Central Maryland PFLAG Book Club!
Choose one or more of the books listed on our Book Club page.
Read and come to our book discussions to discuss the reading selections.
You do not have to read all the books listed and don't feel as though you need to read the entire book in
order to join in on the discussion!
Book Club meetings take place the third Wednesday of every month at
7:00pm at the C. Burr Artz Library.
EVENTS
SEPTEMBER:

  • Check out the minutes from our September meeting on the website.  Thanks to Robby
    for keeping the site updated.


OCTOBER:

  • Wednesday 4th -> IMPORTANT!!! PFLAG/FCC GLBT sponsored candidates' forum
     at FCC's JB Kassmaul theater has been cancelled. There is no meeting on this date.

  • Saturday  21st -> 11am-1pm PFLAG picnic at Baker Park sponsored by our new youth
    group.  Elizabeth and Scott will be sending out more info soon.

  • Wednesday 25th -> Our November meeting in October.  Jimmy and Jeff will show us
    how to go from boy to girl in an hour!  Bring a straight friend and win a prize for you
    and your friend!!

NOVEMBER:
No meeting in November! :`( See October for meeting!

  • Friday 10th -> PFLAG at the movies.  Join us for an outing to see "Running With
    Scissors" and we'll have a discussion about the film afterwards.  More info to come.


  • Thursday 30th -> Steering committee planning retreat.

  • The staged reading of our book "Chicken Stew"...now known as "That Day" will be
    presented on Thursday November 16th at 8pm at the Weinberg Center.  All proceeds
    from this event go directly to our chapter of PFLAG.  PLEASE join us for this
    wonderful event...and bring a friend or two.  More info will be posted on the website
    soon.  Keep checking in!

DECEMBER:
  • Wednesday  6th -> Our PFLAG HOLIDAY party!  Bring a family member and win a
    prize!!!  Bribery is not beneath us :)
