Meetings: Central MD chapter meetings are held 7:30pm to 9:00pm on
the first Wednesday each month. We alternate locations between Hagerstown
and Frederick. There is a main topic of each meeting, followed by general
discussions and announcements. Individual information/direction, if needed,
is provided after the meeting. Some meetings are preceded by our book club.

| Next Meeting. Wed Sept 1 @ 7:30pm Frederick UCC - Topic is School Bullying policies, with several guest speakers. Frederick County does NOT meet state guidelines. |
| The Equality Maryland group, including PFLAG members, continues work in Frederick. There was a postcard drive on July 21, where volunteers randomly asked equality supporters to fill out cards to mail to their Maryland representative to tell them to support same-sex marriage and anti-discrimination laws for transgendered people. Frederick was #1 in the statewide effort! Way to go! Now they are looking for 80 volunteers to speak with 12,000 voters at Frederick primary polling places on September 14th.
